What is included in a Satus Baltic log cabin kit
A Satus Baltic log cabin is delivered as a pre-cut, numbered kit: wall logs, timber foundation joists, floor boards, roof boards, wooden doors and double-glazed wooden windows, fixings and a full set of assembly drawings. The base under the building, exterior wood treatment, assembly and any electrical or plumbing work are arranged by the buyer.

Optional, chosen in the quote form
- Roof covering — bituminous shingles in several colours, or metal roofing sheets with matching gutters. You can also order without roof covering.
- OSB roof boards and waterproof membrane under the covering.
- Roof and floor insulation.
- Wooden window shutters.
- Terrace boards on models with a terrace.
Not included
- The base or foundation (concrete slab, ground screws or pavers).
- Exterior wood treatment — the timber is supplied untreated and should be impregnated and painted or stained soon after assembly.
- Assembly. The kit is designed for self-assembly; a local contractor can build it from the same drawings.
- Electrics, plumbing, heating and interior finishes.
- Building permits, where your municipality requires one.
Frequently asked questions
Are windows and doors included in the price?
Yes. Wooden doors and double-glazed wooden windows are part of every standard kit. A premium window and door range is available as an upgrade, and a kit can also be ordered without them.
Is the roofing material included?
Roof boards are always included. The covering — bituminous shingles or metal sheets — is an option you select in the quote form, so you can also source it locally.
Does the timber arrive treated?
No. The kit is natural, untreated FSC-certified spruce and pine. Apply an exterior wood treatment soon after assembly and renew it periodically.
